Kingdom Chaos was born from a simple realization: life is messy, faith can feel complicated, and following Jesus in the middle of real life rarely looks polished or perfect.
We’re Troy and Amy, the hosts of Kingdom Chaos Podcast. We’ve been married for 29 years, have two amazing kids — Ashley (29) and TJ (26) — and are now blessed with six grandkids who keep life loud, busy, beautiful, and humbling all at once. Like many families, our story has been filled with both incredible moments and difficult seasons. We know what it feels like to carry responsibilities, juggle careers, raise children, pay bills, navigate stress, and try to keep everything together while silently struggling underneath the surface.
For years, much of our lives revolved around work, survival mode, and trying to manage the chaos around us. From the outside, things often looked fine, but internally we were drifting emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. We’ve walked through anxiety, burnout, loneliness, pride, emotional disconnection, unforgiveness, financial pressure, control issues, and deep brokenness within our marriage. We understand what it feels like to smile publicly while privately feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or stuck.
But somewhere in the middle of all the chaos, Jesus met us there.
Not through perfection.
Not through pretending.
Not through having all the answers.
But through surrender, grace, healing, and learning to trust Him one step at a time.
Kingdom Chaos is not about polished Christianity or pretending life is always easy. It’s about honest conversations between imperfect people who are learning what it means to pursue Jesus in the middle of real-world struggles. We believe peace is not found in the absence of chaos, identity is not built on performance, and grace is bigger than our failures.
Through the podcast, we openly share about marriage struggles and restoration, parenting lessons and mistakes, anxiety and depression, faith during difficult seasons, emotional healing, forgiveness, spiritual growth, and learning to trust God through everyday life. We believe faith was never meant to stay inside church walls or exist only on Sundays. Real faith shows up in ordinary moments — around dinner tables, during hard conversations, in failures, in healing, in workplaces, in marriages, and in late-night prayers when life feels heavy.
The heart behind Kingdom Chaos is simple: to create honest conversations where people feel seen, encouraged, challenged, and reminded they are not alone.
We don’t claim to have everything figured out. We’re still learning, still growing, and still being refined by God every single day. But one thing we’ve learned is this: God is not afraid of your mess. Your struggles do not disqualify you. And even in the middle of chaos, purpose can still be found.
So whether you’re fighting for your marriage, struggling with anxiety, feeling spiritually stuck, trying to parent well, questioning your identity, or simply searching for hope in the middle of real life — welcome.
You belong here.
This is Kingdom Chaos.
Where faith meets real life.
And purpose is still found in the mess.
